It is only 20 days until our Holland America cruise ship, MS Amsterdam, launches at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, toward our first destination, Georgetown, Grand Cayman, in the Cayman Islands...exciting!
My traveling companion, Larry Snead, and I will do our best to keep you posted on the highlights of some of the intriguing and beautiful countries and port cities that we will visit on our 110-day cruise around the world. We will be keeping the blogs brief and full of some great photos of the fascinating places we will be exploring during our adventure.
Hope you can find a few moments to take a peek at our blog as we progress around the world...we promise to make our blog as professional as we can...however, we aren't under contract with National Geographic yet!
